### **Custom Charts Customization**

Mindpro Dashio allows you, in addition to selecting and filtering exactly the data to display, to perform additional customizations using the custom charts such as: Using aggregation functions, and hide issues with “Zero” counts and “None” values.

### **Custom Charts Aggregations**

Mindpro Dashio provides you the ability to aggregate your data in different ways. To do this, we provide 3 aggregation functions that allow you to turn your raw data into valuable information. Learn more about these aggregation functions in the sections below: 


**Aggregation by Count**

Shows the number of issues distributed according to the "Chart by" field, considering the total issues retrieved in the main app’s main filter. The tooltip also shows how much % each slice represents from the total of issues retrieved.

**Aggregation by Sum **

Sums the quantity for a selected numeric field, considering the criteria from the "Chart by" option and the number of issues retrieved in the main app filter.


- Allows aggregation by: Numeric fields
- Configuration Example: Select "Chart by: Priority", "Aggregation Type: Sum" and "Aggregation by: Story Points"
- Expected Result: The chart will display the sum of story points in issues in each priority, considering the total issues retrieved in the app's main filter. The tooltip also shows how much % each slice represents from the total of issues retrieved.

**Aggregation by Average**

Shows the average for a selected numeric field, considering the criteria from the "Chart by" option and the number of issues retrieved in the main app filter.


- Allows aggregation by: Numeric fields
- Configuration Example: Select "Chart by: Priority", "Aggregation Type: Average" and "Aggregation by: Story Points"
- Expected Result: The chart will display the average of story points in issues in each priority, considering the total issues retrieved in the main filter. The tooltip also shows how much % each slice represents from the total of issues retrieved.

### **Hide Issues with Zero Counts or "None" values**

When communicating information in a chart, it is often necessary to leave out certain values or segments because they distort the results or divert the reader's attention from the most important information.

To give even more flexibility to the Custom Charts, you can choose between showing or not showing in the results the issues that have for the values of the selected fields with zero or none as values.


**Enabling the** **Hide "Zero Counts” and “None” values option**

- By default, these options are disabled when configuring a custom chart, that is, if the filtered results have issues with zero counts or "None values, these issues will be displayed in the charts.
- If you want to leave these issues out of the chart results, just enable these options and save your configuration.
