### **Customization Overview**


Learn in the section below how to access the customization screen and what are the key sections available for you to build and customize your dashboard.

### **The Customization screen**


To customize your dashboard, you need to access the **Customization **screen. To do this, click on the “Customize” icon from the top of your dashboard.

This will open the dashboard customization screen, where on the left side, you will see the list of all available gadgets grouped by the following categories: **ITSM Gadgets, Custom Gadgets, Asset Gadgets, **and **All Gadgets**.

The right side of the panel represents the **sections** and **slots** where the gadgets will be displayed on your dashboard. 


When customizing your dashboard, consider the rules below:

- **Card gadgets** can be added only in the **Cards Section** in the right panel, you can add up to 4 cards.
- **Chart gadgets** can be added only in the **Primary Charts** and **Secondary** sections in the right panel. You can add up to 4 charts in each chart section.
- All **custom gadgets** can be added more than once to dashboards, and some of the pre-build gadgets can be added more than once.

> ℹ️ **Keep in mind**
> ℹ️ 
> ℹ️ - Card or Chart sections that do not contain any gadgets will not be displayed on the screen.
> ℹ️ - If you don't fill all the slots in a section, the app will display these blank slots on the dashboard.
> ℹ️ - Some gadgets need 1 or 2 columns to be displayed, and when you drag a gadget to the panel, the app will display the slot in green when it is possible to add it and in red when it is not possible.
> ℹ️ - To save your customization, you must have at least one gadget in any of the available sections.
