### **Share your Dashboards with Internal Customers and Organizations**

Mindpro Insights allows you to share dynamic dashboards with your internal customers and Organizations via the Jira Service Management customer portal, so they can also access advanced information about the tickets.

> ℹ️ **Good to know**
> ℹ️
> ℹ️ - The system only shares dashboards with internal customers and organizations logged in to the JSM customer portal** and that have access to Jira as users**, never with anonymous users.
> ℹ️ - The system respects Jira permissions, so even if you share a dashboard with an internal customer, he/she can only see the issues to which he/she has access.

---

### **Enable Customer Portal Sharing**

You can enable the customer portal sharing from two options:

**Option A)**

- Open the app's sidebar and select the dashboard you want to share or change access permissions.
- Click the "..." menu and select the "Edit this dashboard" option to open the "Edit Dashboard" pop-up and adjust the access permissions.

**Option B)**

- Open the dashboard you want to share or change access permissions.
- Click the Dashboard Options menu (icon) and select the "Manage Permissions" option to open the "Edit Dashboard" pop-up and adjust the access permissions.

When you access the dashboard permissions, there is a “Customer Portal” tab where you can give access to internal customers and organizations:

### **Visualizing the Shared Dashboards in the JSM Customer Portal**

When the internal customers access the Portal, the system will display a gadget informing there are dashboards available. Click **“Open Dashboard”** to access them:

The system will load the last dashboard shared with the internal customer/organization. If there is more than one dashboard shared, they will be accessible from the **“Select a Dashboard”** dropdown at the top of the screen:

> ℹ️ **Good to know**
> ℹ️
> ℹ️ - The shared dashboards allow customers to drill down into data by clicking on the gadgets segments and to perform additional filters. However, the original filters, defined when the dashboard was created, cannot be changed. These fields come greyed out in the main filter.

### **How to Disable the Customer Portal Dashboard Sharing**

The Dashboard sharing option is enabled by default. In case you do not want to share this information via the Customer Portal or even restrict the ability to filter the dashboard from the customer portal, the system allows you to configure that.

To perform this action, access the Jira Settings menu and select the “Apps” option:

Find the “Mindpro Insights” option in the left menu, then you will see the options to enable/disable dashboard sharing and also the filters:

You can disable the entire portal dashboard sharing functionality by deselecting the first toggle. The second toggle will also be deselected. If you want to keep the sharing ability but restrict the filtering, keep the first toggle selected and deselect only the second one.
