### **Create Queues - Overview**

 

Mindpro Lineup allows you to create cross-project queues according to your needs in a fast, intuitive way that you are already used to in Jira Service Management.

### **How to - Create your first queue**


When you access the app and you do not have any queue previously created, the following screen is displayed. Click on "Create Queue" to start.

After this, the queue creation screen will be displayed where you need to configure the following fields:


- **Queue Name (Mandatory) - **Enter the name for the queue. This can include any character. Choose a name that makes easy for the users to identify what that queue is used for.
- **Queue Visibility (Mandatory)  - **Select the Jira groups that will be able to access and visualize this queue and its list of issues.
- **Team Priority - **Turn this option on in you want to highlight this queue as something that requires a special attention from the team. Once this is turned on, the queue will be displayed in the "Team Priority" section in the left menu.

- **Filter Queue by - **Here you will add the filter to display the desired information for your queue. You can use both Basic or JQL formats to get data from your projects and display them to the users when they access the queue. Mindpro Lineup allows you to select multiple projects to display you data. Custom fields are also available for search, learn more about the fields available here.
- **Columns to Show - **Select and reorder the columns you want to display in the list when users access the queue. You can add Jira and Jira Service Management columns. This is the order the columns appear in your queue. Custom fields are also available as columns to display.
- **Issues Filtered -** This section will display an overview of the issues returned in your query (basic or JQL). You can also define how many rows your queue will display per page, by selecting the desired number in the "rows per page" field.

- After filling all the fields, click on the "Create" button. The queue will be saved in the queue list in the sidebar, according to your configuration.
- After creating your first queue, you can create new queues using the option “Create new queue” option in the sidebar.

> ℹ️ Permissions: By default, only "jira-admins" and "site-admins groups" have privileges to manage (create, edit, delete) queues.
