| What are Queues? | In Service Management, a queue is a list of tickets that will be handled by agents or other users, depending on the process in place. It represents the items that need to be addressed and resolved.
For example, as soon as a customer opens a new ticket in your Jira Service Management portal, this ticket is automatically sent to a queue to be resolved.
Each queue has a criteria to filter these tickets when they are created, such as request type, priority, product, customer, etc. |
| What are "Queue Groups"? | A group is a way to organize one or more queues into a "container" or "folder" that makes sense for the process in place. You can have as many queues as you want under a group or even groups under groups. You ca use groups to categorize your queues by line of business, location, department, or many other categories that help you to better find the queues.
Learn more here: [Create Queues Groups](https://helpcenter.mindproapps.com/space/MLP/2022408193/Create+Queue+Groups) |
| Does this app allow you to create queues with issues from multiple service desks? | Yes, Mindpro Lineup supports creating cross-project queues. Therefore, you can use the Basic or JQL filters to display issues from several projects and share them with specific groups.
Learn more here: [Create Queues](https://helpcenter.mindproapps.com/space/MLP/2022343034/Create+Queues) |
| What permissions levels does this solution provide for queue management and visibility? | Mindpro Lineup has two levels of permissions:
- Queues Management permissions: These are advanced queue management permissions, ensuring that Jira Groups that have these permissions added can create, edit, and manage queues in the app.
- Queue Visibility - These are the permissions that users with Management Permissions (Admins) can give to selected Jira Groups to view and access created queues.
Learn more here: [Management Permissions](https://helpcenter.mindproapps.com/space/MLP/2024603649/Set+Management+Permissions). |
| Is this app only compatible with Jira Service Management, or can I filter and create Queue views with Jira Software and Work Management issues? | Mindpro Lineup was developed to improve the cross-collaboration of support, dev, and IT operations teams working with multiple portals, and therefore by default, it is compatible with all Jira Service Management, Jira Software, and Work Management platforms. And you can create queues with issues from all these projects.
However, to use the app, you must at least have Jira Service Management installed on your instance, as the app is not compatible with working only with Jira or only with Jira Work Management. |
| What types of projects is this app compatible with? | Mindpro Lineup supports both Team-Managed and Company-Managed project types. |
| Can I import Jira Service Management queues into the app? | Yes, it is possible to import queues previously created in JSM projects.
This way you can import and structure your queues from different projects in just a few clicks.
Learn more here: [Import Queues.](https://helpcenter.mindproapps.com/space/MLP/2023489585/Import+Queues) |
