### **Notifications on Issue updates**

 

If you have notification emails enabled in your Jira instance to receive notifications of updates in Jira fields enabled, every time Mindpro Sync updates your fields mapped with data from the IdP, the watchers, assignees, and reporter of that issue will receive notification emails displaying which fields have been updated and populated with data from the IdP.

For this reason, we've added a flexible option for users in the Mindpro Sync settings, where you can select whether you want users to receive notifications from Jira when there are updates with data from the IdPs on those issues where they are watchers.

### **Enabling the option to notify issue watchers when Mindpro Sync updates its fields**

 

- If you want to enable this option so that notification emails are sent, select "Notify issue watchers when Mindpro Sync updates its fields." in the "Notifications" section, and save the configuration.
- If you want the emails not to be sent, even when there are updates in the fields, uncheck this option, and save the configuration.
