### **Updating the mapped fields via Post-Function**

In addition to the default options to automatically update the mapped fields with IDP's data, Mindpro Sync has a dedicated post-function that can be added to your workflow and update the data in a status transition.

By setting up this dedicated post function in your project's workflow, you can define which workflow transition changes the data should be synchronized.

### **How to add the Mindpro Sync Post function**

To configure the Mindpro Sync post function to update the fields, please follow the steps below:

- Select the workflow you'd like to use and click Edit > Diagram
- Click on the transition upon which the IdP data should be updated.
- Open the "Post Functions" option, and on the next screen, click on the "Add post function" link
- In the "Add Post Function to Transition" screen, select and add the option "**Mindpro Sync: Update all mapped IdP fields in the issue after this status transition.**"
- Click on the "Publish Draft" link to save the workflow changes.
