### **Updating the user attributes data in the mapped fields in Jira**

Mindpro Sync will automatically** synchronize** and **update **the mapped fields with user attribute data only in three events: 1) Issue Creation, 2) Issue reporter/assignee/user change, or 3) Status Change (via Post Function).

---

**1) Issue Creation**

Whenever a **new issue/request is created**, the app will fetch the data from the IdP and populate the mapped fields with the user attributes for the first time.

---

**2) Issue Update - (Reporter, Assignee, User-picker field change)**

Whenever the **issue reporter, assignee**, or **the other user-picker field selected **(depending on what is set in the configurations) **is changed**, the app will fetch the data from the IdP and update the mapped fields with the new user attributes in the issue. You can perform this change issue by issue or using the bulk function in Jira.

---

**3) Issue Update - (Status change / Post Function)**

By setting up a post function in your project’s workflow you can define upon which status change the data should be synchronized. Learn more about it in the next chapter: [Updating the mapped fields via Post-function.](https://helpcenter.mindproapps.com/space/sync/1992491039/Updating+the+data+via+Post+function)

> ℹ️ **Keep in mind**
> ℹ️
> ℹ️ After an issue creation or update, it may take a few seconds for the updated data to be displayed, so remember to refresh the browser session to make sure that the synchronization took place.

> ℹ️ **Good to know**
> ℹ️
> ℹ️ Not every issue change/update will trigger a data sync with the IdP, only the scenarios above will trigger this action.
